‘Symphony No.9’ hits screens

Iranian movie ‘Symphony No.9’ has hit silver screens.

Theaters in Iran are hosting the movie directed by Mohammad-Reza Honarmand, starting from today, November 6, 2019.

The film tells the story of a surgeon named Rahil who meets up with a shady man in order to fulfill his wife’s only wish.

Some of the cast members of the film include familiar names such as Mohammad-Reza Foroutan, Pejman Bazeghi and Mehrdad Seddiqian.

The list goes on with Alireza Kamali-Nejad, Sareh Bayat, Hamid Farrokhnejad, and Hoda Zeinolabedin.

‘Symphony No.9’ competed at the 37th edition of the Fajr Film Festival in Iran and won five nominations at the event. It was well-received both by the audiences and the film critics.

The star-studded fantasy film is anticipated to be a high grosser at domestic box office.
